Green Apple Mango Mint Salsa

Green apple mango mint fruit salsa

This tasty fruit salsa has so many fun flavors combined. It is tart, sweet, zesty and has just a tiny hint of mint. The green apples add some crunch which pairs well with the soft mango and avocado. Add this salsa to any kind of tacos, fish tacos are my favorite, or eat with your favorite sweet chips.

What you will need:

  • 1 ripe mango

  • 1 large green apple

  • 2 just ripe avocados

  • 1 large lime

  • A handful of fresh sweet mint

Start by prepping your ingredients, dice the mango, green apple, and avocados. You will want to dice everything quite small for best texture, but it is up to you. Then finely chop your mint leaves.

Add everything to a bowl.

Juice your limes over all your ingredients. Mix everything together.

Add to any kind of tacos or enjoy with sweet chips!

Ingredients

1 mango diced small

1 large green apple peeled and diced small

2 just ripe avocados diced small (it should press in slightly when poked but you don't want it to be too overripe that it just turns to mush when cutting it up)

1 large lime juiced

Roughly 1/3 cup fresh sweet mint leaves minced then measured

Directions

  1. Start by washing all your produce and pat dry.

  2. First dice your mango into small pieces.

  3. Then peel and dice your green apple into small pieces.

  4. Lastly do your best to dice your avocados. I found it was easiest to use just ripe avocados that are not too mushy. I also peeled the skin off first, then diced them.

  5. Add all your diced ingredients to a large bowl.

  6. Then pull off all the mint leaves and mince them fine. Add these to the bowl as well.

  7. Now squeeze on the lime. Stir everything, being careful not to squish the avocados.

  8. Serve on top of a fish, pork, chicken, or beef tacos or eat with seasoned cinnamon and sugar chips for a sweet snack. Keeps for about 3 days in the fridge.
